The Devils acquired Jacob Markstrom for the equivalent of a wet fart, and after missing out on the playoffs in no small part because they didn't really have much in net to begin with. This was part of a duo of goalie trades that were made in the last couple of days, with Darcy Kuemper shipped to Los Angeles for Pierre-Luc Dubois.
